Unfortunate as it is, most people have to rely on some pretty poor chat lines to
catch the man or woman of their dreams sometimes. But hey, using pick up lines
to chat with singles has worked for Tom Cruise, James Bond and Taylor Lautner so
why shouldn’t they work out for you too?
Better still, even women on the silver screen are not afraid to throw a little
chat line to their hero. If Audrey Hepburn can use a cheesy chat line to chat
with singles then so can you. Here are some of the most cheesy, crude, or just
well delivered chat lines used in movies.
“Take me to bed or lose me forever” – Kicking off with a come on from a woman,
this little gem was delivered by Meg Ryan to Tom Cruise in Top Gun. It seems to
work too, she got her guy.
“Every night I watch the sunset and soak up every last ray of its warmth and
send it to you from my heart” – Spoken into the sunset by Kate Beckinsale in
Pearl Harbour. Since she was having fun with two men at this point, it’s not
clear which one it is meant for – sweet!
“That’s quite a nice little nothing you’re almost wearing” – There were many
chatlines to choose from for this guy, but this has to be the most presumptuous
of James Bond’s chat lines.
“Wanna play a game? You can be Little Red Riding Hood and I’ll be the Big Bad
Wolf” – This one just goes to show that chat lines aren’t extinct; they’re still
as alive as werewolves and vampires. In Twilight, Jacob uses this line to lure
Bella in.
“Do you wash your pants in Windex? Because I can see myself in them” – This line
could be used by no one other than Austin Powers himself. If you’re wondering
about Windex, it’s a window cleaner than makes glass shine like a mirror.
“I don’t bite you know? Unless it’s called for” – Delivered by the undeniably
elegant Audrey Hepburn in Charade. Only a lady so smart and sophisticated could
get away with using something like this as a chat line.
“Shall we shag now or shall we shag later? - Another from the genius of cheesy,
ride chat lines – Austin Powers. You probably shouldn’t try this one out
yourself unless you have a ginger beard and wear weird 1970s style suites.
Before you get to the chat up line stage, you’re actually going
to have to make the effort to get chatting with singles. No problem at all – set
